The left may call it “revisionist history,” but the reality is that they’re the ones who are actively trying to frame America’s past. From statue teardowns to radical legislation, it looks like Massachusetts is the latest state to embrace their recent agenda: Senator Warren is leading the charge and taking the entire agenda to a whole new level about the state’s history.
Senator Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts has recently come out in support of changing the state’s flag, heeding a demand from locals in the City of Newburyport. The current imagery used on the flag and seal is seen by some to encourage the state’s long held history of racism, which has caused a disruption for many in this progressive era.
Trending Politics reports, Elizabeth Warren, a Democrat senator from Massachusetts, has expressed support for changing the state’s flag. The City Council of Newburyport, Massachusetts has been requested to pass a resolution in support of replacing the state’s flag and seal following residents’ demands. Residents argue that current imagery promotes what they see as the state’s racist history.
During a quick interview with Fox, Warren said this:

Given Warren’s self-identification as a Native American, this is surprising.
What does this racist flag actually mean?
The current flag of Massachusetts features a white field with a blue coat of arms in the center, which depicts an Algonquin Native American in a ceremonial dress holding a bow and arrow.
The shield of the coat of arms includes a depiction of a Native American’s head, a white star, a gold pine tree, and a blue ribbon with the Latin phrase “Ense petit placidam sub libertate quietem,” meaning “By the sword we seek peace, but peace only under liberty.” This flag has been in use since 1971.
The Left has recently called for it to be changed because it is associated with the state’s colonial and oppressive past.
According to the left, the current flag’s imagery is offensive and perpetuates stereotypes, especially the Native American figure. Native American figures are viewed as symbols of the state’s colonial past and hostile treatment of indigenous peoples.
What a shame to see a self-proclaimed native American like Warren not fight to keep her people on the Massachusetts state flag. If she was truly native American and not just posing as one to win votes she would be against this. Besides all this the left loves to rewrite history with the excuse of calling something racist. When has a conservative ever asked to take down a historical monument? I can’t think of a time, yet we’re accused of rewriting history all the time when it’s them doing it all along.
