On Fox News, Geraldo Rivera is touting New Jersey Governor Chris Christie as the savior of the Republican Party in the 2024 Presidential race.
Globalists and war mongers have been driving the GOP’s agenda for years, and many conservatives fear that Christie would only continue their disastrous policies. Centralized economic control has caused inflation while global trade deals have destroyed American jobs, deepening the political divide between the haves and have-nots.
Conservative brief reports, Geraldo Rivera of Fox News recently talked about who he thinks would be the strongest alternative Republican candidate for president, but conservatives seemed less than enthusiastic about the idea.
In a tweet Geraldo slathered praise for Chris Christie saying “Chris Christie could be the strongest GOP alternative for POTUS; savvy, swagger, moderation, toughness,”
Former New Jersey governor Chris Christie ran in the 2016 Republican presidential primary but dropped out to support Donald Trump.
Christie’s appeal within the Republican Party, as well as to Republican voters, has diminished significantly since the end of Trump’s presidency.
On Twitter, Rivera’s contention was roundly mocked.
Michael Sullivan tweeted back “Geraldo was doing some serious drugs over the weekend.”
Tim Young tweeted “Is this a parody account? 😂😂😂”
NeoUnrealist stated “Jerry stop. I like Chris Christie as a person but his politics are too squishy to win a GOP nomination. He’s fine for being a Republican in NEW JERSEY but he is not where the majority of the party is politically.”
Recently Geraldo let his true colors show when he attacked the investigation into Hunter Biden.
Mediaite reports, when it comes to allegations of criminal behavior against Hunter Biden, Fox News host Geraldo Rivera challenged American right critics to “put up or shut up.”
In a tweet Geraldo stated “Hunter Biden has been investigated for almost five years. Aside from fact he’s been a junkie dirtbag nothing remotely criminal has been uncovered.
Put up or shut up.”
There was widespread criticism of Rivera’s comments on social media, with some even calling for his dismissal.
Mollie Hemingway of The Federalist tweeted in response: “Setting aside the gun crimes, prostitution crimes, drug crimes, tax crimes, bribery receipts, foreign agent shenanigans, money laundering, pay-for-play, and kid-glove treatment from the corrupt and politicized FBI and DOJ, this is a really astute observation.”
Dan Bongino tweeted “Outside of a potential illicit foreign influence operation, possible public corruption, FARA and tax violations – you’re correct, nothing to see here “
The recent decision of Geraldo Rivera to endorse Chris Christie as the Republican choice for President in 2024 has sparked controversy among conservatives nationwide. Many are left incredulous, calling out globalists and war mongers from both sides of the aisle and decrying an even wider political divide if Rivera’s choice proves to be successful. Are we doomed to repeat de ja vu with a broken promise of economic stability in the wake of rising inflation? Is this clueless endorsement something to be ashamed of? A continued globaloney do-but-never-say approach cannot possibly relate to Middle American families striving for financial security in this new decade. Fox may think they can sell Christie to conservatives but it looks more like they’ve just sold them down the river.
