Shocking new documents obtained by America First Legal (AFL) reveal that the Biden administration was involved in the Mar-a-Lago raid through a “special access request.”

When the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) received 15 boxes from former President Donald Trump in January 2022, they suspected that he had not turned over everything. After NARA realized that there were classified documents in the boxes, they informed the DOJ, which prompted the DOJ to ask President Joe Biden to request that NARA give the FBI access to the boxes.
It was previously known that the DOJ had asked President Biden to make this request, but the AFL’s discovery of internal emails showing that the DOJ made the request directly through the White House raises concerns about the legality of the coordination between the two offices. The AFL’s Senior Counselor, Reed Rubinstein, said, “the evidence suggests that the ostensibly nonpartisan National Archives and Records Administration misled Congress about the Biden White House’s responsibility for the FBI’s raid of former President Trump’s home.”
