Meanwhile, the President himself and his handlers have refused to call the situation a crisis, instead referring to it as a “challenge.” Biden has also reversed many of the previous administration’s policies that helped to discourage illegal immigration and has reduced the resources assigned to border enforcement, leaving those tasked with protecting the border increasingly overworked and underfunded.
It is indefensible that the current administration refuses to acknowledge the blatant reality of this issue and its severity. The fact of the matter is that by ignoring the border crisis and turning a blind eye to the consequences, the Biden administration is demonstrating an utter lack of concern for American citizens’ well-being, which shows they are not fit to be leaders.
