**Man Fatally Shot on Metro Train in DC During Robbery Attempt**
A tragic shooting took place on Sunday aboard a Green Line Metro train at the Navy Yard-Ballpark station in Washington, D.C. A man lost his life after an attempted robbery went awry, highlighting the continued issue of violence on the D.C. Metro system.
