President Joe Biden has just vetoed a congressional Republican-led disapproval resolution against the District of Columbia’s police reform bill. This comes on the three-year anniversary of the death of George Floyd. Senate Republicans forced a vote on the disapproval resolution in the upper chamber, but it was overturned by the president’s veto.
