After facing criticism for inviting the anti-Roman Catholic drag group “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence,” the team announced “Christian Faith And Family Day” in July. The announcement of “Christian Faith and Family Day” came after Bishop Barron called for a boycott of the team, labeling the “Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence” as an anti-Catholic hate group. This group consists of adult men who dress as perverted nuns, openly sexualizing Jesus Christ and degrading key figures of the Catholic faith.
