**Dodgers Pitcher Blake Treinen Stands against Anti-Catholic Hate, Takes on Woke Sports Culture**

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Blake Treinen has voiced his disapproval of the team’s decision to celebrate an anti-Catholic hate group, the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, during an upcoming LGBT pride event. He becomes the third player in the league to publicly object, citing religious beliefs and the importance of keeping politics and propaganda out of sports.

The 34-year-old Kansan expressed his disappointment over the Dodgers’ choice to honor the group, which is known for mocking Jesus Christ and the Christian faith, at the 10th annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night. The controversial decision to award the “Community Hero Award” to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, a “leading-edge Order of queer and trans nuns,” is not supported by Treinen on account of their blasphemous performances and mockery of Catholic teachings on marriage, sexuality, and abortion.

While organizations like CatholicVote and individuals such as Sen. Marco Rubio have called for a boycott of the team, there has been little response from other Christians in the league. However, Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw has spoken against the honoring of the group, and Trevor Williams of the Washington Nationals urged his fellow Catholics to reconsider supporting an organization allowing mockery.

Treinen remains firm in his beliefs, declaring that baseball is a privilege and his convictions in Jesus Christ will always come first. He warns of the negative effects of woke propaganda on companies, stressing the importance of keeping politics and propaganda off the field. CatholicVote praised Treinen’s stance, expressing hope that others in the league would follow his lead, as seen with players in the NHL.

**Treinen’s brave opposition to woke sports culture is a reminder of the need to focus on the love of the game and the importance of athletes’ personal convictions.**
