**Young Patriots Silenced in Capitol: Invited to Sing by Trump**
The elite Christian children’s choir, whose performance of “The Star-Spangled Banner” was abruptly halted at the U.S. Capitol, has now been invited by former President Donald Trump to sing at his next South Carolina rally. Recognizing their talent and strong love for America, Trump seeks to give these young patriots a memorable experience with tens of thousands of fellow Americans.
Last month, the Rushingbrook Children’s Choir, a dedicated group of youngsters from South Carolina, was at the Capitol as part of an approved and scheduled tour. With the blessings of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and Congressmembers William Timmons and Joe Wilson, they were also invited to perform their rendition of the national anthem in Statuary Hall.
However, the Capitol police stopped the choir from completing the performance due to what was later deemed a “miscommunication.” Though the order was allegedly given under the assumption that singing the anthem could be a form of protest, the police later apologized for their mistake.
