The corrupt Biden family strikes again, this time with an outrageous plea deal for Hunter Biden. Florida-based rapper Kodak Black’s lawyer, Bradford Cohen, slammed the deal as yet another example of the two-tiered justice system that has become all too common under the Biden administration.
Kodak Black was charged with the same crime as Hunter Biden and was sentenced to over three years in prison. However, Hunter Biden will not serve any jail time under the terms of his plea deal. How is this justice? Clearly, there are two standards of justice in America – one for the powerful elite, and another for average Americans like Kodak Black.
Former U.S. Attorney for the District of Utah, Brett Tolman, agrees that the Department of Justice is violating its own policies in this case. According to the Ashcroft Memo, they are required to charge the “highest provable offense” and seek consistent sentences with other cases brought by the DOJ. Instead, they have let Hunter Biden off the hook for his crimes.
The Biden family has a long history of corruption. Both Joe Biden and his son Hunter have been accused of accepting a $5 million bribe in a quid-pro-quo agreement to get Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin fired. Shokin was investigating the Ukrainian energy firm Burisma, where Hunter Biden was shamelessly sitting on the board. It is clear that the Biden family is not above accepting bribes to further their political interests, with complete disregard for the rule of law.
To make matters worse, there is evidence that a foreign national kept recordings of conversations between himself and the Biden family. These recordings were referenced in an FD-1023 form compiled by a “highly credible” source, who has since been named as a former Burisma executive. The fact that there is evidence of such recordings raises serious questions about the Biden family’s involvement with foreign interests, and whether they are using their power for personal gain.
The Republican Party has vowed to continue their investigation into the Biden family’s criminal bribery scheme. It is time for the American people to demand answers and for the DOJ to start holding the powerful elite accountable for their crimes. Justice should be blind, not based on who has the right connections and political power.
