Brian seems quite confident that the majority of Americans have lived under a rock.
Switching camp, Stelter assumes that for Trump, it’s all a game of dice. He claims Trump won’t be preparing like Biden, subtly portraying him as an unorganized candidate. According to him, it’s all a guess.
Talking to some former debate moderators for Vanity Fair, Stelter states that they primarily focus on policy-related questions. Apparently, the fear looming around is Trump’s possible shift from policy to personality-based themes. The question that Stelter deems crucial is: “How cruel is Trump going to be to Biden?” Excuse me? And wasn’t Biden just encouraged to pull out Trump’s controversies?
The irony doesn’t end there. Stelter seems to have a skewed perception of what’s personal. So, attacking Trump is educating voters, but tit for tat is ‘cruel’. Certainly, this is the kind of journalism we can expect from CNN.
