The Minnesota man shot by Border Patrol agents during weekend protests against President Trump's mass deportation operations has been identified as Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old intensive care nurse who worked for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

According to his parents, who spoke to the press, Pretti abandoned his duties caring for America's veterans to join radical protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) following the death of activist Renee Good in early January.

The irony is staggering, Patriots. Here's a man whose job was literally to save American lives – specifically our nation's heroes who served in uniform – and instead he chose to stand with lawbreakers trying to obstruct the enforcement of our immigration laws.

Leftist Priorities on Full Display

This incident perfectly encapsulates the warped priorities of the radical left. While President Trump and his administration work tirelessly to secure our borders and remove criminal illegal aliens who have no right to be here, leftist activists like Pretti are literally putting their bodies on the line to protect foreign nationals who violated our sovereignty.

Think about this: Pretti had a noble profession caring for veterans – men and women who actually sacrificed for this country. But when push came to shove, he chose to side with illegal aliens over the safety and security of his fellow Americans.

"The Trump administration's deportation operations are proceeding exactly as promised, and no amount of leftist obstruction will stop us from making America safe again."

The fact that Border Patrol agents were forced to discharge their weapons during these protests shows just how far the radical left will go to undermine President Trump's America First agenda. These aren't peaceful protesters – they're active obstructionists trying to prevent federal law enforcement from doing their jobs.

While Pretti's family mourns, every American family should ask themselves: Why are healthcare workers abandoning their posts to protect people who broke our laws to get here? Where's their concern for the American victims of illegal alien crime?

President Trump promised mass deportations, and he's delivering. The only question now is whether more leftist radicals will choose lawbreakers over law enforcement.

The irony is unreal - abandoning Americans who served our country to protect illegals who broke our laws. Priorities completely backwards!

This is what happens when leftist ideology takes over common sense.

Wait, so she's getting paid with taxpayer money to help veterans but chose to protest deportations instead? Fire her immediately.

As a veteran myself, this makes my blood boil. We have brothers and sisters who can't get appointments for months, and she's out there playing activist on company time.

Thank you for your service. This is a slap in the face to all of us who served.

Unbelievable. Our veterans are homeless on the streets and she's worried about deportations.

Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. She made her choice to interfere with law enforcement.

This is absolutely disgusting. She took an oath to care for our veterans and instead abandoned them to protect people who shouldn't even be here!

Exactly! Our vets deserve better than this betrayal.

How is this even legal? Can government employees just walk off the job to protest now? What happened to accountability?
