NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell is standing by his controversial decision to feature Bad Bunny at this Sunday's Super Bowl halftime show, even after the Puerto Rican rapper used the Grammy Awards stage to attack President Trump's ICE deportation operations.
The reggaeton star, whose real name is Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, made headlines when he joined other Hollywood elites in rebuking U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement's lawful deployment to remove criminal illegal aliens from American communities. Now Goodell is rushing to defend his woke halftime choice, insisting Bad Bunny "understands" his platform is to "unite people."
Really, Roger? Because attacking the deportation of criminal aliens doesn't sound very unifying to the American families whose loved ones have been victims of illegal immigrant crime.
Social media erupted over Goodell's tone-deaf defense.

This is the same NFL that blacklisted patriotic Americans for supporting law enforcement while now platforming artists who oppose basic immigration enforcement. The league that once banned players from honoring fallen police officers is now giving prime real estate to someone attacking the brave ICE agents removing dangerous criminals from our streets.
Meanwhile, as @JoriEpstein reported, Goodell is also defending the NFL's "indefinite postponement of diversity program" amid coaching hire controversies - proving the commissioner's woke priorities are as confused as they are anti-American.
Patriots should ask themselves: why is the NFL so comfortable alienating half their fanbase for Hollywood's anti-enforcement agenda? And will American families continue funding a league that opposes removing criminal aliens from their communities?
