"Just shut up and play," Gonzales said, echoing Ann Coulter's famous words that should be tattooed on every athlete's forehead. "I thought that that was a very poignant thing that Ann Coulter said."
But here's the kicker – it's not just the NFL that's been hijacked by America-hating leftists. Our Olympic athletes, the very people who are supposed to represent the greatest nation on Earth, are now using their platforms to trash the country that gave them everything.
When Did Representing America Become Optional?
Think about this for a second, folks. We're talking about athletes who benefit from American training facilities, American coaching, American sponsorships, and American taxpayer dollars – only to turn around and bite the hand that feeds them on the world's biggest stage.
"Wouldn't you know, you have all of these people" pushing their anti-American agenda, Gonzales pointed out, highlighting how the Olympics have become just another venue for woke virtue signaling.
Sports used to be the one place Americans could come together, regardless of political differences. Democrats and Republicans could sit side by side, cheering for Team USA. Those days are gone, and we all know exactly who killed them.
Time for Real Consequences
Here's a radical idea: How about we only send athletes who actually LOVE America to represent us? Crazy concept, right? If you can't stand for the flag, if you can't respect the anthem, if you spend your time trashing the country – then maybe, just maybe, you shouldn't get the honor of wearing "USA" across your chest.
There are thousands of patriotic athletes who would kill for the chance to represent America with pride. Why are we wasting spots on people who see it as a burden?
It's time for the Trump administration and patriotic Americans to demand better. Our Olympians should be ambassadors of American greatness, not walking advertisements for everything that's supposedly wrong with our country.
