As the Olympics approach, we're witnessing the same tired playbook of America-hating competitors who want to wear the red, white, and blue while trashing everything it represents.
BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales hit the nail on the head when she pointed to Ann Coulter's famous words: "Just shut up and play." It's a message that resonates now more than ever as sports have become another battlefield for leftist politics.
"Sports used to be one of the only places you could turn to without being beaten over the head by the political opinions of others — but now it's hard to get through a game without it," Gonzales explained, highlighting how even the Olympics have been infected by anti-American sentiment.

Here's a radical idea: If you hate America so much, don't take the spot that could go to a patriotic athlete who would be honored to represent this great nation. There are plenty of young competitors who understand what it means to wear USA across their chest with pride, not shame.
Patriots are tired of subsidizing the platform for America-bashers. It's time Team USA leadership grew a backbone and reminded these athletes that representing America is a privilege, not a right to lecture the rest of us about how terrible our country supposedly is.
Why should taxpayers fund athletes who spend more time trashing America than training to win for America?
