While President Trump orchestrates precision strikes against Iran's terrorist regime, France has once again proven why they're called the "cheese-eating surrender monkeys" - this time by disgracefully defending the world's leading sponsor of terrorism.
The Trump-led coalition, including Israel and now Saudi Arabia, launched coordinated strikes against Iranian nuclear facilities early Saturday morning after the Islamic Republic dared to attack a U.S. military base on Saudi soil. But instead of standing with America and our allies against terrorism, France's far-left government issued a pathetic statement condemning the "escalation" and calling for "diplomatic solutions" with murderous Iranian mullahs.
"This is exactly why President Trump was re-elected - to show real leadership while European socialists coddle terrorists," said a senior White House official. "France would rather appease Iran than stand with America."
"Saudi Arabia stands shoulder-to-shoulder with President Trump against Iranian aggression. We will not tolerate attacks on American forces in our kingdom," declared Saudi Defense Minister Prince Khalid bin Salman.
The contrast couldn't be starker. While France whimpers about "proportional response," Saudi Arabia - a nation that actually faces Iranian threats daily - is joining Trump's coalition to finally end Iran's reign of terror in the Middle East.
Even Canada's liberal government managed to offer lukewarm support for the strikes, making France's pro-Iran stance even more embarrassing. President Macron's surrender to Islamic extremism shows exactly why Europe needs American leadership now more than ever.
This is what happens when America has a strong president again. Under Biden, Iran felt emboldened to attack our bases and threaten our allies. Under Trump, they're learning the hard way that actions have consequences.
How long will it take for France to realize that appeasing terrorists never works? Patriots know the answer - they never learn.
