While President Trump was preparing to deliver his second State of the Union address to the nation, triggered Democrats organized their own pathetic counter-event featuring the disgraced Joy Reid – apparently the best they could do after her spectacular fall from grace at MSNBC.
But Gonzales had other plans. Taking a page from Trump's playbook, she decided to expose just how easy it would be to infiltrate the Democrats' supposedly grassroots gathering.
"Now obviously, President Trump is the troller in chief, and I just try to learn from him like a young Padawan. And I just thought, you know what? I'm gonna do a little trolling as well," Gonzales explained.
The fact that a conservative media host could so easily walk into what Democrats claimed was their "People's State of the Union" speaks volumes about the complete lack of organization and authenticity behind these left-wing stunts. This wasn't some massive grassroots movement – it was a handful of bitter Democrats still unable to accept that Trump is back in the White House.
Gonzales' successful infiltration and subsequent trolling of Joy Reid perfectly demonstrates the difference between the confident, winning conservative movement and the desperate, flailing left. While Trump commands respect on the world stage and delivers real results for American families, Democrats are reduced to hosting sad counter-events with has-been media figures.
The security eventually caught on and kicked Gonzales out, but not before she exposed the entire charade for what it was – a desperate attempt by Democrats to stay relevant while President Trump continues to deliver on his America First agenda.
