Dearborn Heights Mayor Bill Bazzi is facing intense backlash after making disgraceful comments about the rifle-wielding terrorist who attacked a Michigan synagogue last Thursday, while conveniently leaving out the most important details about the perpetrator's identity.
The FBI confirmed that a madman crashed his car into the West Bloomfield Township synagogue in what they called a "targeted act of violence against the Jewish community." But when Bazzi addressed the attack, he went out of his way to downplay the anti-Semitic nature of the assault and make excuses for the attacker.
Here's what Bazzi didn't tell you: the attacker was a Muslim extremist who specifically targeted Jews in an act of religious terrorism. Instead, the mayor offered weak platitudes about "mental health" and "community healing" while refusing to call out the obvious hate crime for what it was.

"We need to focus on bringing people together," Bazzi said, completely ignoring the fact that someone just tried to massacre Jews with a rifle.
Patriots, this is exactly the kind of weak leadership that emboldens terrorists. When our elected officials won't even name the enemy, how can we expect them to protect innocent Americans?
President Trump's strong stance against anti-Semitism and support for our Jewish communities stands in stark contrast to the cowardice displayed by mayors like Bazzi. It's time for local officials to stop making excuses for terrorism and start protecting ALL Americans.
