When evil struck at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, American heroes stepped up and delivered justice with their own hands. Students at the campus didn't wait for bureaucrats or run for safe spaces—they neutralized a terrorist threat and saved countless lives in the process.

The suspected terrorist, identified as Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, opened fire on campus before brave students took matters into their own hands and permanently ended the threat. One person was killed and two others wounded before the students' swift action prevented what could have been a massacre.

FBI Director Kash Patel didn't mince words when describing what happened: "The students who subdued him and rendered him no longer alive. I don't know how else to say it." That's the kind of straight talk we've come to expect from Trump's FBI—no politically correct dancing around the truth.

This is what happens when Americans refuse to be victims. While the left wants to disarm law-abiding citizens and create more "gun-free zones" that only law-abiding people follow, these students proved that good people stopping bad people is the ultimate solution to violence.

Under Biden's America, we saw story after story of authorities failing to protect innocent Americans. But under Trump's second term, we're seeing real leadership that celebrates heroes instead of making excuses for criminals.

The mainstream media will probably find a way to criticize these brave students or worry about the "rights" of the terrorist. But Patriots across America know the truth—these students are heroes who stepped up when it mattered most.

How many lives were saved because a few brave Americans refused to be sheep? That's a question the gun-grabbing left doesn't want to answer.

Does anyone know if these students had any prior training or military background? Either way, incredible courage under pressure. We need more young people like this.

I heard one of them was in ROTC but haven't seen it confirmed yet. Still looking for more details.

These students are true heroes! This is exactly why we need to teach our kids to stand up and defend themselves and others. Thank God they acted quickly before more lives were lost.

Absolutely right. My son starts college next year and I'm proud knowing there are students like this willing to step up when it matters most.

As someone who served overseas, it breaks my heart that we're dealing with this on college campuses now. But I'm incredibly proud of these young Americans who didn't hesitate to act when lives were on the line.

Finally, someone in the FBI leadership who actually praises Americans for defending themselves instead of lecturing us about it.
