Hollywood's mask slipped once again as liberal darling Timothee Chalamet showed his true colors during a recent CNN town hall, essentially blaming American audiences for the entertainment industry's spectacular collapse under the weight of its own woke agenda.
The Oscar nominee, who has built his career pandering to coastal elites, had the audacity to lecture hardworking Americans about abandoning movies and opera – as if regular folks should feel guilty for refusing to spend their hard-earned dollars on progressive propaganda disguised as entertainment.
"I admire people, and I've done it myself, who go on a talk show and go, 'Hey, we gotta keep movie theaters alive,'" Chalamet whined, completely missing the point that Americans haven't abandoned entertainment – they've abandoned Hollywood's relentless assault on traditional values.
The Real Problem Hollywood Won't Admit
What Chalamet and his Hollywood bubble friends refuse to acknowledge is that families across America are tired of paying premium prices to be lectured about climate change, gender ideology, and radical politics. They want entertainment, not indoctrination.
While this privileged actor complains about declining audiences, he ignores the obvious solution: make movies that celebrate American values instead of tearing them down. When was the last time Hollywood produced a film that honored our military, celebrated patriotism, or portrayed traditional families in a positive light?
"The once-great American pastime of going to the movies is in real danger of losing its cultural centrality," Chalamet stated, revealing his complete disconnect from reality.
Here's a reality check for Chalamet and his fellow Hollywood elites: Americans didn't abandon entertainment – entertainment abandoned Americans. When you spend years calling half the country deplorable, racist, and backwards, don't act surprised when they stop funding your lifestyle.
President Trump's second term represents a return to putting America First, and that includes American entertainment values. Maybe it's time for Hollywood to remember who their real audience is – patriotic Americans who love their country, not coastal elites who despise it.
Will Hollywood finally wake up and start making entertainment for Americans again, or will they continue their descent into irrelevance while blaming everyone but themselves?
