SHAMEFUL: Fort Hood Hosts Ramadan Event Years After DEADLY Islamic Terror Attack That Killed 13 Service Members

In what can only be described as a slap in the face to the families of fallen American heroes, Fort Hood is hosting Islamic Ramadan celebrations on the very same military base where radical Islamist Nidal Hasan gunned down 13 service members in cold blood.

On November 5, 2009, U.S. Army Major and psychiatrist Nidal Hasan opened fire on his fellow soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas, in what became the deadliest terrorist attack on an American military installation. The Islamic extremist murdered 13 patriots and wounded more than 30 others while screaming "Allahu Akbar" during his rampage.

Now, nearly 17 years later, that same base is rolling out the red carpet for Islamic celebrations. The Fort Hood Religious Support Office and Fort Hood Muslim community are actively promoting Ramadan events on the installation where American blood was spilled in the name of radical Islam.

"It's a humiliation ritual at this point," said BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales, expressing what millions of Americans are thinking but are afraid to say out loud.

This isn't about religious freedom – it's about common sense and respect for the fallen. Would we celebrate Japanese cultural events at Pearl Harbor? Would we host German festivals at Holocaust memorial sites? The answer is obvious, yet our military leadership seems determined to virtue signal at the expense of basic decency.

The timing couldn't be worse. Under the previous Biden administration, woke policies infected every corner of our military, prioritizing diversity initiatives over combat readiness and memorial dignity. While President Trump has begun the crucial work of purging these destructive ideologies from our armed forces, incidents like this prove how deep the rot has spread.

Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth and the Trump administration must immediately investigate this tone-deaf decision. Our service members deserve leadership that honors their sacrifice, not bureaucrats who bow to political correctness while dishonoring the memory of fallen heroes.

The 13 Americans who died at Fort Hood – including Francheska Velez, who was pregnant at the time – deserve better than this cultural capitulation. Their families deserve better. America deserves better.

When will our military leaders finally put American heroes before progressive pandering?

I served 20 years and never thought I'd see the day our own military would do something this tone deaf. What's next, hosting events for other ideologies that have attacked us?

This is absolutely disgraceful. How can they honor the same ideology that motivated Hassan to murder our brothers and sisters in arms?

Exactly right. It's a slap in the face to the families of those 13 heroes.

Why are we celebrating the religion of our enemies on a military base? Makes zero sense.

My son is stationed there and he told me about this. The morale impact on our troops is devastating when leadership makes decisions like this.

Absolutely shameful!

Whatever happened to honoring our fallen instead of appeasing political correctness?

PC culture has infected even our military leadership unfortunately.

We lost friends that day in 2009. This feels like the Army is erasing their sacrifice for the sake of diversity initiatives.
