The glitz and glamour of Hollywood's Academy Awards ceremony quickly devolved into a predictable leftist propaganda show Sunday night, as wealthy celebrities used their platform to attack President Trump's America First agenda and virtue-signal their support for Palestinian terrorists.
Leading the charge was Spanish actor Javier Bardem, who brazenly declared "No to war and free Palestine" while presenting the award for best international feature film. The Hollywood elite wasn't content to just spout his anti-Israel rhetoric—he made sure to wear a patch reading "No a la Guerra," recycling the same tired anti-war slogan he used to protest American efforts in Iraq over two decades ago.
But Bardem wasn't alone in his America-bashing spectacle. Multiple celebrities used the red carpet and stage to launch attacks against President Trump's successful mass deportation program and ICE agents who are finally doing their jobs protecting American citizens from criminal illegal aliens.
Hollywood's Hypocrisy on Full Display
The irony is rich, folks. These same celebrities live behind walls and gates, protected by private security, while lecturing working Americans about immigration enforcement. They'll never face the consequences of the open border policies they championed under the disastrous Biden regime.
"These Hollywood hypocrites want to defund ICE while they hide in their Beverly Hills mansions," one social media user pointed out. "Let them house the illegal aliens in their guest houses if they care so much."
Meanwhile, their support for the "Free Palestine" movement exposes their backing of Hamas terrorists who brutally murdered innocent Israeli civilians, including women and children. This is what passes for moral leadership in today's Hollywood—supporting terrorists while attacking the democratically elected government of our closest Middle Eastern ally.
President Trump's administration has made it clear that America will stand with Israel and secure our borders, regardless of what these out-of-touch celebrities think. While Hollywood virtue-signals, Trump delivers real results for the American people.
The question patriots should be asking: Why do we continue to enrich these America-hating celebrities with our hard-earned dollars? Maybe it's time to find better entertainment than watching millionaires lecture us about morality.
