The blood of Lt. Col. Brandon Shah is on the hands of Virginia's Democrat establishment, and their pathetic attempts to feign ignorance won't wash it clean. Mohamed Bailor Jalloh, 36, stormed into an Old Dominion University ROTC classroom last Thursday screaming 'Allahu Akbar!' before gunning down the heroic military instructor - and Virginia's new Democrat Governor Abigail Spanberger had the audacity to act surprised on social media.

Here's what Spanberger doesn't want you to know: Jalloh was walking free thanks to the very 'social justice' policies that Democrats have been ramming down Virginians' throats for years. While law-abiding Americans face prosecution for defending themselves, actual threats to public safety get a free pass in the name of progressive ideology.

The terrorist met his deserved end at the hands of brave ROTC cadets who fought back - real Americans who understood that evil must be confronted with force. These young patriots saved countless lives while Virginia's Democrat leadership was probably busy crafting their next diversity initiative.

Democrats' Soft-on-Crime Policies Kill

This isn't complicated, folks. When you prioritize political correctness over public safety, innocent people die. When you treat criminals like victims and victims like criminals, you get exactly what happened at ODU.

Governor Spanberger's fake confusion on X is insulting to every Virginia family. She knows exactly why Jalloh was free - because her party's policies put him there. The same Democrats who want to defund police and empty prisons are now shocked when violence erupts on college campuses.

Lt. Col. Shah died serving his country and training the next generation of American warriors. His sacrifice deserves justice, not Democrat deflection and virtue signaling from Richmond.

How many more Americans have to die before Virginia voters wake up and realize that Democrat 'compassion' is getting people killed? The blood trail leads straight to the governor's mansion, and no amount of social media theater will change that fact.

This is exactly what happens when you prioritize woke ideology over common sense safety measures. Our kids deserve better than this liberal experiment gone wrong.

Couldn't agree more. Time to vote these Democrats out before more damage is done.

When ideology trumps safety, innocent people pay the price. The governor needs to resign immediately for his role in enabling this tragedy.

The blood is on the hands of every Democrat who voted for these reckless policies. They prioritized criminals over victims and this is the result.

Exactly right. Elections have consequences and this is proof.

Can someone explain exactly what this 'social justice' law changed about campus security protocols? I want to understand the full scope of this disaster.

The governor's response was absolutely tone-deaf. Instead of taking responsibility, he's making excuses and deflecting blame.

So glad I moved my family out of Virginia two years ago when I saw which direction that state was heading. This confirms we made the right choice.

Predictable outcome from predictable policies. When will these liberals learn?

My daughter goes to school in Virginia and I'm seriously considering transferring her out of state. The safety of our children should come before political correctness every single time.

I'm in the same boat. Already looking at schools in Florida and Texas where they still have their priorities straight.
