The Oscars have become a pathetic reminder of how Hollywood's woke obsession has completely destroyed the movie industry's cultural influence, according to Breitbart Editor-in-Chief Alex Marlow.

Speaking on "The Alex Marlow Show" Monday, Marlow delivered a scathing assessment of Sunday's Academy Awards ceremony, explaining how the entertainment industry's radical left-wing politics have alienated ordinary Americans.

"Movies were the centerpiece of, not just American culture, but really global culture, and that's been fading pretty rapidly," Marlow observed.

And he's absolutely right. Remember when the Oscars actually mattered? When families gathered around their TVs to watch Hollywood celebrate genuine artistry instead of virtue-signaling about climate change and transgender rights?

Those days are long gone, Patriots. Today's Hollywood would rather lecture you about your "white privilege" than entertain you. They'd rather push DEI casting than tell compelling stories. They'd rather celebrate films nobody watched than honor movies Americans actually enjoyed.

Is it any wonder that box office numbers continue plummeting while streaming services dominated by conservative content are exploding in popularity? Americans are voting with their wallets, and they're rejecting woke Hollywood's propaganda.

The Death of American Cinema

Under the Trump administration, we're witnessing a cultural renaissance as Americans rediscover their values. Meanwhile, Hollywood doubles down on the same failed woke messaging that cost them their audience in the first place.

The Academy Awards used to represent the pinnacle of American entertainment. Now they're just another platform for elitist celebrities to bash the very country that made them rich and famous.

While President Trump focuses on making America great again, Hollywood remains obsessed with making America ashamed of itself. The contrast couldn't be clearer.

The good news? Americans are waking up to Hollywood's anti-American agenda. Independent filmmakers, conservative content creators, and patriotic entertainers are filling the void left by Tinseltown's spectacular collapse.

Maybe it's time Hollywood learned a simple truth: Go woke, go broke. The American people have spoken, and they're not buying what you're selling anymore.

Exactly right. These celebrities live in gated communities but want to lecture us about how to live our lives.

Hollywood forgot that entertainment should unite people, not divide them with constant political messaging.

Does anyone have the exact viewership numbers compared to 10 years ago? I'd love to see just how dramatic the decline really is.

I saw somewhere it's dropped by over 60% since 2014. Will try to find the exact source.

Stopped watching the Oscars three years ago and haven't missed it one bit. There's better entertainment on YouTube these days.

The ratings crash speaks volumes. Regular Americans are tired of being talked down to by millionaire actors who don't understand our struggles.

My whole family used to watch the Oscars together every year. Now we spend that evening playing board games instead - much more enjoyable than listening to political rants from actors we used to respect.

Same here! Family game night is so much better than Hollywood's virtue signaling fest.
