Patriots, you won't believe this latest example of how the radical left destroys everything they touch. A perfectly reasonable plan to honor American women with a Smithsonian museum on the National Mall has been torpedoed because Democrats can't even agree on what a woman is anymore.
Rep. Nicole Malliotakis (R-NY), who led the bipartisan effort to establish the American Women's History Museum, is watching four years of hard work go up in flames thanks to the left's obsession with transgender ideology. The legislation had real momentum for the first time since the idea was proposed, but now it's dead in the water.
Why? Because in Joe Biden's America, apparently you can't celebrate women without first bowing down to the woke mob's demand that biological males be included in the definition of "woman." The very concept that should unite Americans - honoring the achievements of American women throughout history - has become another battlefield in the culture war.
When Common Sense Becomes "Controversial"
This is exactly the kind of insanity that President Trump and the MAGA movement have been fighting against. We're living in a world where stating the basic biological fact that women are adult human females is now considered "partisan" and "controversial." Meanwhile, the left wants to force a museum celebrating women to also celebrate biological men who claim to be women.
Think about the absurdity here, folks. Our daughters and granddaughters deserve a museum that honors the real struggles and triumphs of American women throughout history - from the suffragettes to Rosie the Riveter. But the radical Democrats would rather kill the entire project than acknowledge biological reality.
"This is what happens when ideology trumps common sense in Washington," said one conservative activist familiar with the negotiations. "They'd rather have no museum than one that tells the truth about women."
Rep. Malliotakis deserves credit for refusing to cave to the woke mob's demands. In Trump's second term, we're seeing more Republicans finally grow spines and stand up to this gender madness that's destroying our institutions.
The question Americans need to ask is simple: If Democrats can't even define what a woman is, how can they be trusted to honor women's history? The answer should terrify every parent in America.
