In a stunning revelation, a recent Emerson College Polling survey has shown that former President Donald J. Trump gives President Joe Biden a run for his money if he were to run for the presidency again. What’s more, incumbent Florida Governor Ron DeSantis doesn’t fare very well against President Biden in a hypothetical general election race. The results of the poll show that Trump and Biden are neck-and-neck in a rematch of the 2020 Presidential Race. A narrow margin of 0.1% was all that separated Biden and Trump, with 43.5% and 43.4% of the vote, respectively. It is a testament to the unwavering support and loyalty that Donald Trump commands among the American people, and it gives credence to his claims that the 2020 elections had been rigged against him.

The Emerson College Polling survey, published on Thursday, shows that when People’s Party presidential candidate Cornel West is factored into the race as a third-party candidate, he takes 5.8% of the vote, while Biden’s support drops to 40.3%, and Trump overtakes him with 41.4% of the vote. It is a clear indication that the American people are fed up with the left’s anti-American policies and are yearning for strong, decisive leadership. Trump’s campaign rally last weekend in Ohio, where he drew tens of thousands of supporters, showed that there is a groundswell of fervent support for him and his policies.

DeSantis lags far behind in a hypothetical race against Biden, trailing the President by nearly six percentage points. In that scenario, almost 14% of respondents would vote for someone else, while almost seven percent are undecided. It is disheartening to see an established Governor like DeSantis so far behind in a mock election scenario.

It is clear that Trump continues to dominate the Republican primary field, with a 58.7% rating from respondents. DeSantis is his closest rival, but he lags far behind in the polls, with just a 20.6% rating. The April poll showed that before DeSantis formally launched his campaign, Trump held 61.6% to his 16.4%, which shows how much Trump’s support has endured.

On the Democrat side of things, Biden holds the support of 72.5% of respondents in a small field, leaving Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in a distant second place with 14.6%, followed by Marianne Williamson with 2.5%. However, the Democrats’ support for Biden seems synthetic, given that he is yet to make any concrete decisions that have helped flood-ravaged states like Florida, Louisiana, and California. Therefore we predict that his support may decrease as more people awaken to the fallacy of the left’s policies.

It is heartening to see that a majority of respondents believe that President Trump will reclaim the White House in the upcoming Presidential Elections, with 33.2% predicting that he will lose to Biden, and roughly one-in-four respondents expecting someone else to prevail. Trump’s unwavering support during his presidential term brought significant economic prosperity to the US, and we predict that he will continue to revitalize the American economy.
