Hollywood Elites Demand Tech Giants Crush Dissenters On Major Controversy

In an unprecedented move, more than 250 “influential” Hollywood celebrities have joined forces to demand the tech giants of Silicon Valley quash dissenters who defy the transgender agenda.

The open letter, addressed to the CEOs of Meta, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter, has sent shockwaves through both the entertainment industry and the realm of social media. Signed by the likes of Amy Schumer, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Jamie Lee Curtis, Judd Apatow, Patrick Stewart, and countless others, the missive begins by decrying a systemic failure to address hate, harassment, and what they describe as malicious anti-LGBTQ disinformation on these platforms.

According to the letter, dangerous posts, including content and ads, have been targeting transgender, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming individuals with alarming frequency. The celebrities argue that the inadequately moderated dissemination of such disinformation plays a significant role in the escalating instances of anti-transgender targeting and violence in the real world.

Highlighting their concerns, the letter points to the widespread utilization of ‘deadnaming’ and ‘misgendering’ as prevalent modes of hate speech across all platforms. They claim that this form of harassment is often directed at prominent public figures, serving as a means to bully and express hatred and contempt simultaneously.

However, the celebrities’ demands don’t stop there. They go on to question the tech companies about their plans to combat disinformation related to medically necessary healthcare for transgender youth. Drawing parallels to election and COVID-19 mitigations, the letter insists that specific measures must be developed to address this issue effectively.

In essence, the open letter appears to advocate for the censorship of anyone who dissents from the belief that gender-affirming surgeries on children and sterilization are necessary and acceptable. It raises concerns about the perceived failure of tech companies to enforce their policies and protect trans and LGBTQ+ users, all while avoiding over-enforcement and censorship.

The celebrities’ call for action echoes the controversial approach previously employed by big tech in silencing dissenting voices during the 2020 election and the COVID-19 pandemic. Any suggestions questioning the origin of COVID-19 or suggesting a lab leak theory were met with censorship and removal from platforms, despite mounting evidence supporting such claims.

However, in stark contrast to the Hollywood elites’ demands, recent polls shed light on public sentiment regarding the exposure of children to transgenderism, drag shows, and LGBTQ+ themes. The findings reveal that a significant 61 percent of U.S. voters believe that such exposure hampers the emotional and psychological development of children.

The same polls indicate that 63 percent of respondents believe that those advocating for children’s exposure to these issues are primarily motivated by a desire to advance a specific cultural agenda. Furthermore, nearly three-quarters (73 percent) of respondents express their preference for businesses to remain neutral on political and cultural matters, including LGBTQ+ topics. More than half of the respondents support boycotting companies that aggressively market such agendas.

Echoing these sentiments, another survey conducted by The Trafalgar Group in partnership with Convention of States Action found that 62 percent of participants desire corporate neutrality during Pride month. Additionally, 41 percent admit to having boycotted a company due to its adoption of woke public stances.
