“lobbied” none other than social media powerhouse, Twitter , to ban journalist Paul Sperry’s account! This absurd episode has us asking what other sneaky measures are being used by House Dems and Schiff in particular. It looks like it is time for some new hearings to take place- this could be an unprecedented violation of our constitution and we must make sure it doesn’t go unpunished!
Tuesday afternoon brought with it another shocking Twitter Files release by investigative journalist Matt Taibbi, showcasing the abuses of power from intelligence and government agencies. In particular, Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Ca.) was caught blatantly violating the Constitution; he asked Twitter to delete tweets mentioning one of his staff members, and also requested to ban reporters who were critical of him and his staff. One reporter in particular, Paul Sperry of RealClearInvestigations, had been a thorn in the Deep State’s side since the Clinton administration and Schiff had enough. It is agreed by many that this cruel act against freedom of speech is a clear violation of our founding principles and Adam Schiff should be held responsible for prosecution.
NewsBusters reports, According to Matt Taibbi, who reported several Twitter file drops, there has been an “astonishing variety of requests from officials asking for individuals they didn’t like to be banned.”
A prominent example is the apparent request from Adam Schiff’s (D) office to ban journalist Paul Sperry from Twitter.
This is the email from Schiff’s office to violate the First Amendment of the Constitution.
The request read: “Remove any and all content about Mr. Misko,” Rep. Sean Misko of the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, “and other Committee staff from its service—to include quotes, retweets, and reactions to that content.”
“Suspend the many accounts, including [Greg Rubini] and [Paul Sperry], which have repeatedly promoted false …conspiracies and harassed [redacted.]”
Twitter denied the request, but Taibbi said “most other requests” were approved. It appears that the platform received requests from both state and federal government agencies. Twitter later suspended Sperry anyway.
Musk called out Schiff’s clear violation of the First Amendment to his millions of followers tweeting directly at him: “Hey @RepAdamSchiff, what’s this?”
Drop 25 revealed Twitter was taking requests from every conceivable government body, including the Senate Intel Committee (SSCI), which seemed to need reassurance Twitter was following FBI instructions. In response to an FBI tip, executives notified “Team SSCI” that five accounts had been zapped.
Adam Schiff has been caught red-handed in a blatant violation of the Constitution. His office lobbied for Twitter to take action against journalists over ‘conspiracies’, outlandishly asking for censorship as an effort to establish social media surveillance with help from other federal government agencies. It’s time this blatant abuse of power is prosecuted and the hearings can finally begin! It’s time for consequences for using his position with such disdain and disrespect to the law he was appointed to uphold. Such behavior is simply outrageous, and it must be dealt with swiftly.
