Biden’s DHS Rewards Sanctuary Cities and NGOs with $290M for Resettling Illegal Aliens!

Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has shockingly funneled over $290 million in taxpayer money to sanctuary cities and NGOs for the purpose of resettling illegal aliens across the United States. Find out how this betrayal of American citizens is further fueling the illegal immigration crisis!

In a disturbing revelation, it has come to light that President Joe Biden’s Department of Homeland Security (DHS) is rewarding sanctuary cities and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) with a staggering $290 million in taxpayer money. This exorbitant amount is being allocated through the Shelter and Services Program (SSP), a federal initiative launched by the Biden administration and funded by Congress.

The DHS officials have proudly announced the distribution of these funds to various towns, cities, and NGOs involved in the resettlement of hundreds of thousands of border crossers and illegal aliens across American communities after their release into the nation’s interior. This dangerous policy not only undermines the rule of law but also endangers the safety and well-being of law-abiding citizens.

Shockingly, many of the cities receiving these funds are sanctuary jurisdictions. San Diego County in California, a notorious sanctuary jurisdiction, is set to secure a whopping $15 million in SSP funds, while the sanctuary city of Denver in Colorado will receive over $8.6 million. However, it is the sanctuary city of New York City that is securing the largest amount of SSP funds, a staggering $104 million, to aid border crossers and illegal aliens. This is an outrageous misuse of taxpayer money.

But it doesn’t stop there. The sanctuary city of Chicago has been granted over $10.5 million, and the sanctuary state of Illinois will receive nearly $19.4 million. This lavish distribution of funds to sanctuary cities demonstrates the Biden administration’s prioritization of non-citizens over American citizens.

Furthermore, non-governmental organizations such as the World Hunger Ecumenical Arizona Task Force (WHEAT) are set to receive $15.5 million to assist in the housing of border crossers and illegal aliens in Arizona. Catholic Charities, operating across California and Texas, will rake in over $24 million in SSP funds. This is an alarming testament to how NGOs are profiting from the redistribution of illegal aliens while putting additional strain on already overburdened communities.

Last month, Republican Representatives Jim Jordan and Lance Gooden demanded accountability from the Biden administration regarding the allocation of federal funds to cities and NGOs facilitating illegal immigration. Representative Gooden rightly highlighted the unsustainable nature of this surge in illegal immigration, fueled in part by these NGOs. It is clear that this policy is not only unfair to law-abiding citizens but also perpetuates the cycle of illegal immigration, endangering the safety and security of our nation.

The financial burden of illegal immigration on American taxpayers cannot be overstated. The annual cost of supporting the 11 to 22 million illegal aliens residing in the U.S. surpasses a staggering $143 billion. This figure does not even account for the social and economic consequences, such as rising housing prices, wage depression, job loss, increased crime rates, and the strain placed on public resources in hospitals and schools.

It is time for the Biden administration to prioritize the well-being and security of American citizens over the interests of illegal aliens. The misuse of taxpayer money to reward sanctuary cities and NGOs for their complicity in the resettlement of illegal aliens must be exposed and challenged.

The Biden administration’s decision to allocate over $290 million to sanctuary cities and NGOs for the purpose of resettling illegal aliens is a betrayal of American taxpayers. It’s time to demand accountability and put an end to this dangerous practice.
