Justice Clarence Thomas Declares Addiction to Outcomes

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas is a man of few words, but boy does he make sure those words matter when he does speak. While speaking at a judicial conference in Atlanta, Thomas let people know how dangerous radical leftists were becoming with their attempts to force outcomes that override democracy.

The conservative judge who is known for abstaining from SCOTUS decisions let the crowd know that the real issue at hand is how our country handles political disputes more than just having them.

Justice Thomas said that, as a society, “we are becoming addicted to wanting particular outcomes, not living with the outcomes we don’t like.”

Thomas continued by declaring, “We can’t be an institution that can be bullied into giving you just the outcomes you want. The events from earlier this week are a symptom of that.”

It’s clear that Justice Thomas is disturbed by the threats of violence against him, his family, and his fellow justices. Still, he made a point to let the people know that he will not waiver in his conviction despite the unruly radicals who have targeted his personal residence.

Last week a draft decision was leaked from the Supreme Court, signed by 5 of the 9 justices, which called for an end to Roe V Wade and to allow individual states to legislate the issue going forward, with the exception of Congress taking action and codifying abortion access themselves.

Interestingly enough, Democrats have had plenty of opportunities in the past to legislate abortion access as an actual right, both in 2009 when Obama took over with full control of the House and Senate or in 1993 when Bill Clinton had the exact same advantage. Do you think the Left actively avoided the issue because they thought it was more politically advantageous for them to keep it as a proverbial Sword of Damocles over their own voters’ heads?
