Last week, Sen. John Kennedy attacked the state of Democrat run cities on Fox News with Jesse Waters and ripped leftists for pushing policies that are “not working” and then made a hilarious reference to a song by 1970s singer Judy Collins called “Send in the Clowns.”
“Not to be ugly, but if you asked most Americans to assess your leadership, they would say something like, ‘Don’t bother to bring in the clowns, they’re already here,’” Kennedy joked.
Above the post on twitter, Kennedy wrote more of his sentiments, “Mayors, what you are doing to lower crime is not working. We must instead: 1. Empower America’s cops. 2. Get rid of the see no evil, hear no evil, prosecute no evil district attorneys. 3. Fix our schools and expand school choice and vouchers.”

Data reported by Fox News Digital shows that violent crimes, which include sexual assault, robbery, rape, sexual assault, and even murder, are up between 5 to 40 percent compared to 2021 in major cities like Baltimore, Chicago, Los Angeles, New York City, Philadelphia, Seattle and Washington, D.C.

According to the FBI, murders are up almost 30 percent comparing 2020 and 2019. In 2021, homicides rose about 5 percent compared to 2020, according to the Council on Criminal Justice.
