President Joe Biden is no stranger to gaffes or strange public displays, but this one might take the cake. On Monday, during July 4th, Biden was speaking at the South Lawn of the White House to commemorate the holiday. Beside him was First Lady Jill Biden.
At the end of his speech, Biden confusedly looks over at this wife. She whispers to him, “God bless America.” He apparently did not hear her.
Biden then puts the mic in her face and she says, “God bless America.” Watch.
It seems Jill was reminding Joe to say the phrase because he had forgotten.
Biden concludes the statements by saying, “And God protect our troops.” Social media users saw it as a gaffe about Biden forgetting to say something basic.
One user said, “He’s shot. It’s a sad thing to watch.”
Another person named Steve wrote, “OK, Jill, OK. is it time for Green Acres?”
One user named ConniePrays said that this is a trend from Joe Biden that he’ll never say “God bless America.” That’s likely untrue.
Another user named Mike, echoed the sentiment: “I think he just didn’t want to say it.”
The president did at one point in the night get a face full of the first lady’s hair at least.
Biden has previously stated that America is racist nation in 2019 during a breakfast honoring Rev. Martin Luther King Jr.
“The bottom line is we have a lot to root out, but most of all the systematic racism that most of us whites don’t like to acknowledge even exists,” Biden said. “We don’t even consciously acknowledge it. But it’s been built into every aspect of our system.”
That’s a very nation-hating message that is typical in the American left nowadays, but shows his messaging towards voters about the country. It’s likely nothing sinister and Biden probably just forgot to say the words “God Bless America.” Jill got it in at least.

It just goes to show though that Biden is not totally there all the time. He screws up every time he speaks. There will be another one this week – most definitely. Do you think that Biden is totally aware of his surroundings at all times or is he just guided along by helpers all day?
