Video: Massive Column of Migrants Crossing Texas Border

A new video of a line of migrants shows just how bad the Southern Border crisis has gotten in the United States under President Biden’s immigration policies.

The video, captured by Real America’s Voice News, shows a huge number of immigrants calmly walking past border agents as they enter the United States.

According to RAV journalist Ben Bergaquam, the video was recorded at a border crossing station in Eagle Pass, Texas and was posted on July 9th, 2022.

Eagle Pass is no stranger to border crossings either. In 2020 alone, before Biden entered office, U.S. Customs Border Protection reportedly processed more than 2.1 million privately owned vehicles and more than 629,000 pedestrians at that one location.

While Joe Biden was clear about his open border policies before entering office, even his team has cooled the rhetoric, with Vice President Kamala Harris telling immigrants to stop crossing the border.

Despite the change of tone, many southern states have experienced overwhelming numbers of border crossings in the last year. Recently Texas Governor Greg Abbott went as far as to sign a new executive order allowing officials to override the federal government and return immigrants in Texas illegally back to the border.

He laid the blame for the current border crisis directly at the feet of Biden in his Executive Order. Abbott even claimed that “the cartels have become emboldened and enriched by President Biden’s open border policies, smuggling in record numbers of people, weapons and deadly drugs like fentanyl.”

The move by Texas comes as Joe Biden moves towards ending Title 42 expulsions put in place during COVID that allowed officials to arrest and immediately return undocumented migrants back to Mexico for processing. A letter sent from Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas in June claimed that “illegal alien encounters at the southwest border are currently up to 1,295,900 for this fiscal year alone.”

Biden’s decision to end Title 42 has been currently put on hold by a federal court as a lawsuit against the action is reviewed.

While US Southern Border states are taking action themselves to try and deal with the border crisis, it will be hard without the support of Washington, DC who control the US immigration policy. Do you think border crossings will get better or worse as long as Biden is in office? Is there any way to actually stop it while he is there?
