Movie star Bradley Cooper has supposedly been involved in a months long secret relationship with Hillary Clinton’s top aide, Huma Abedin.
The new report from Page Six revealed that the two have been secretly attending high-profile events together for months before separating around the press. They even attended the Mett Gala together in May although the public was unaware.
Abedin, 46, is the ex-wife of disgraced Democrat Congressman Anthony Weiner, who famously cheated on her multiple times during their relationship, including with underaged women. She also served as the top aide to Hillary Clinton for years including during her failed 2016 presidential bid.
Bradley Cooper, 47, has been the star of many high profile films including “A Star is Born”, “The Hangover” and “American Sniper. The two were supposedly introduced by mutual friend Anna Wintour, the head editor of Vogue Magazine.
“Anna definitely played matchmaker,” a source told Page Six, “She’s BFFs with Bradley and adores Huma.”
The insider continued, “Bradley has been quietly dating Huma for a few months now, [and] they’ve been keeping it really quiet.”
They also said that Huma has confided in them that she is in a relationship but still refuses to confirm its with Cooper, adding, “She didn’t say who it was. She was keeping it very close to her chest.”
The source, who also appeared to be close to the actor as well as the political advisor, said, “Just being out and being with her, I just felt sort of normal and loved. Bradley is a big step up from Anthony Weiner, to say the very least.”
In 2021 Anna Wintour prompted Abedin to write a memoir of her time in politics and married to Weiner. In it she revealed that she lost her virginity to the politician at age 32 and was devastated when he cheated on her.
