Donald Trump Announces Huge Presidential News

Former President Donald Trump essentially announced his next run for President of the United States during a new interview this week.

The ex-president was speaking with New York Magazine reporter Olivia Nuzzi while campaigning in Alaska last Saturday when he seemed to accidentally make the bombshell announcement of his imminent run.

When first pressed on his future campaign, Trump played it coy. Instead of simply confirming his future in politics, he walked around the question, saying, “Look. I feel very confident that, if I decide to run, I’ll win.”

The former president must be very cautious with when and how he makes his announcement. While it could help him fend off potential challengers like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, it would also restrict the amount of fundraising he can do from his donors going forward.

The reporter then pressed him even harder on the question, asking if he had made up his mind on a run yet. Trump responded,  “Well, in my own mind, I’ve already made that decision, so nothing factors in anymore. In my own mind, I’ve already made that decision.”

Then, after a little more prodding from Nuzzi, Donald Trump finally made the big admission the whole country has been waiting for.

“I would say my big decision will be whether I go before or after,” he said. “You understand what that means? Do I go before or after? That will be my big decision.”

Essentially, former President Trump is saying that he absolutely is planning to announce his 2024 run. That is not in question. The only thing he is unsure of is whether to wait until after the midterm elections so as not to affect Republicans’ chances of winning back Congress.

Are you excited by the new revelation that he is absolutely going to announce his reelection bid? Do you think he should wait until before or after the midterm elections are over?
