Democrats hate Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. Ever since the day George H.W. Bush nominated him they’ve had it out for him. Now, they are coming after his wife, Ginni Thomas.

The Vice Chair of the January 6 select committee told Jake Tapper on “State of the Union” on Sunday that they hope Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas’ wife Ginni Thomas will voluntarily speak with them. If she will not, they will “contemplate a subpoena” she said.

“We certainly hope that she will agree to come in voluntarily, but the committee is fully prepared to contemplate a subpoena if she does not. I hope it doesn’t get to that. I hope she will come in voluntarily,” Cheney said. “So it’s very important for us to speak with her and as I said, I hope she will agree to do so voluntarily but I’m sure we will contemplate a subpoena if she won’t.”

The committee has email correspondence between Thomas and former President Donald Trump’s election attorney John Eastman. It also has texts between Ginni Thomas and Trump White House chief of staff Mark Meadows. There were 29 texts between Ginni Thomas and Mark Meadows after the November 2020 election. In one Thomas wrote, “Help This Great President stand firm Mark!!! … You are the leader, with him, who is standing for America’s constitutional governance at the precipice. The majority knows Biden and the Left is attempting the greatest Heist of our History.” In another, she told Meadows to “release the Kraken and save us from the left taking America down.”

A month ago when the January 6 committee was talking about subpoenaing Ginni Thomas her attorney told them he “does not believe there is currently a sufficient basis to speak with” his client.

Ginni Thomas has long been an activist in her own right but liberals want to show that her texts were inappropriate because of who her husband is. They seem to think that if a wife does something, that means the husband knows about, agrees with, and supports it. Is that always true in your marriage? In any event, is there anything wrong with Ginni Thomas’ texts?
