Conservatives don’t have a lot of media to watch other than the news these days. That’s why it was such a breath of fresh air when the show “Yellowstone” came out, not pushing a woke agenda. However, that may all be about to disappear as a pro-Trump candidate ripped into the show’s star Kevin Costner for endorsing her opponent, current Congresswoman Liz Cheney.
Harriet Hageman, who is running for Cheney’s congressional seat in Wyoming, spoke to the newspaper DailyMail.com following the announcement of Costner’s endorsement, which Cheney bragged about online.
“Yellowstone is a good show, but Kevin Costner is a pretend rancher in a Hollywood production shot mostly in Montana, not Wyoming,” Hageman said. “And I’d bet that if he had to work a real ranch for a day, he’d call his agent to get him out of there. “
She added, “I’ll take the support of the people of Wyoming any day of the week over a liberal actor who voted for Joe Biden.”
And it looks like Hageman may be right about receiving the support of the people of Wyoming over the minority ranking member of the January 6th Select Committee. According to polls from the end of July, the Trump-endorsed candidate was leading Cheney by 20% or more.
Liz Cheney, who is the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney, was once one of the most powerful Republicans in the nation, expected to succeed Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy as the party head if he were to become House Speaker in November.
Since joining the January 6th Select Committee and disowning Donald Trump, she has become more of a pariah and has seen her leadership permissions removed. Losing in a Republican primary for a seat she used to hold comfortably could be the final nail in the coffin of her and her family’s legacy. Do you think Liz Cheney will ever make a comeback after this?
