One-by-one rhinos continue to fall. Check out this most recent Trump backed victory.
Across the country during primary elections Trump candidates continue to win seat, after seat, after seat. In this most recent primary Victory another impeachment backing establishment GOP candidate loses.
Political insider reports. Rep. Jaime Herrera Beutler of Washington state’s 3rd Congressional District, one of 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach former President Donald Trump, has conceded defeat. She said in a statement that, despite coming up short this time, she’s proud of what they’ve accomplished together. However, Beutler (WA) seemed satisfied with her decision to vote for Trump’s impeachment based on his alleged involvement in the Capitol riots.
Republican Joe Kent went on to announce his victory over his primary opponent citing the amount of resources that came to him because of Beutler’s strong stance against Trump.
Business insider writes. In the race, Trump endorsed Army veteran Joe Kent. Based on historical midterm trends, Kent should easily win Washington Third District if historical midterm trends hold. DDHQ projected Kent would win under the state’s top two jungle primary format earlier Tuesday.
With Herrera Beutler’s defeat, seven of the 10 House Republicans who voted to impeach Trump for inciting the January 6 insurrection will not be returning to Congress next year. In addition to Price and Meijer, she is the third Republican in the group to lose in a primary. Next week, January 6 committee vice chair Rep. Liz Cheney will face Wyoming voters. The other four lawmakers decided to retire.
It’s no secret that Trump has gone on a mission to help any one that is running for office against his political rivals. It seems so far that the overwhelming majority of the candidates that he has backed has won their primaries, and the American people are on his side. Can’t wait to see how this finishes up.
