Over the weekend, Texas Republican Senator Ted Cruz mocked Massachusetts Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren using her own story she told NBC News correspondent Ali Vitali while running for President in 2020.
According to POLITICO, Vitali claims in her new book that after Warren placed 3rd in the 2020 Iowa Caucus, she complained, “Everyone comes up to me and says, ‘I would vote for you, if you had a penis.’”
In response, while speaking to constituents at the seventh annual Basque Fry in Gardnerville, Nevada on Saturday, Senator Cruz ridiculed Warren, saying, “Number one: That story is a lie. Produce this fictional person ’cause this human being does not exist…But number two: In today’s Democrat Party, how do we know she doesn’t [have a penis]?”
Whether or not Senator Warren was fibbing about this story, she has been known to lie in the public eye about herself.
For example, as a move to try and paint herself as the minority, in 1986, Warren claimed she was “American Indian” on a registration card for the State Bar of Texas.
However, DNA test results showed that Warren had only 1/64 to 1/1,024 part Native American heritage in her blood.
This is how she earned the name “Pocahontas Warren” from President Trump.
After Warren released her DNA results, Cherokee Nation Secretary of State Chuck Hoskin Jr. issued a statement that read: “Using a DNA test to lay claim to any connection to the Cherokee Nation or any tribal nation, even vaguely, is inappropriate and wrong. It makes a mockery out of DNA tests and its legitimate uses while also dishonoring legitimate tribal governments and their citizens, whose ancestors are well documented and whose heritage is proven.”
