A Representative is sending out signal flares to anyone who will listen that in the IRS training materials, they are specifically going after small business owners. Last week it was announced that the inflation reduction act was passed, which earmarked 80 Billion dollars for the IRS to hire 87,000 new agents for tax collection purposes. This has sparked fear and outrage amongst ordinary citizens, as Biden has stated previously that he wants to monitor anyone who has more than $600 in their bank accounts.
Daily Caller Writes. In a video posted Friday, Republican Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky urged Americans to notice a billionaire wasn’t among the targets.
Massie noted, “the scenario in this IRS recruiting program is ‘taking down a landscape business owner who failed to properly report how he paid for his vehicles,’ not ‘taking down a billionaire who uses the corporate jet for private trips,’”
In the video, potential IRS agents are shown undergoing training on how to arrest someone suspected of tax evasion. According to the video, the suspected offender owned a landscaping business that bought vehicles with non-business funds.
