This is an outrageous attack on our judicial system by a sitting Vice President. In a stunning display of partisan politics, VP Harris has come out attacking the Supreme Court as being ‘activist.’ This is a direct affront to the Constitution and the rule of law. The executive branch is attacking the judicial branch. We must stand up against these types of attacks and make sure that our democracy remains strong.

Kamala Harris (D-CA) is not happy with the Supreme Court. In a recent speech, she criticized the justices for being “activist” and legislating from the bench. This is nothing new – most liberals are unhappy with the Roberts Court – but Harris took it a step further, attacking the integrity of the court. This is clearly an attempt to curry favor with the left-wing base and gin up support for the 2022 midterms. But does Harris really understand what “activism” means? Or is she just pandering to her partisan supporters?

The Daily Wire Reports. Kamala Harris attacked the Supreme Court’s legitimacy over its decision overturning federal abortion rights.

On Sunday’s “Meet the Press,” Harris criticized the court’s decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. She expressed concerns about whether the body can interpret the law fairly.

She also urged the U.S Senate to pass a bill that codifies the right to abortion into federal law, taking the abortion issue out of the hands of state governments.

Harris’ comments follow months of similar attacks from prominent Democrats who have attacked the Court as “illegitimate” and “extremist” and pushed for aggressive reforms in reaction to the Dobbs decision.

According to The Daily Wire. House Democrats introduced a bill last month that would place strict term limits on Supreme Court Justices and mandate that the President make new appointments to the Court every two years.

Democratic House members, led by Georgia Rep. Hank Johnson, introduced the bill. TERM Act, also known as the Supreme Court Tenure Establishment and Retirement Modernization Act of 2022, would limit Supreme Court justices’ tenures to 18 years and require the President to appoint a justice twice during each term.

The bill would also force all justices on the Court at the time of its passage to retire upon the appointment of a new justice, starting with the longest-serving justice and proceeding in order of service duration.

The bill is Democrats’ latest attempt to reshape the Court after Dobbs overturned Roe v. Wade in June. In 2021, Johnson and Massachusetts Senator Ed Markey introduced bills to increase the Court’s number of justices from 9 to 13.

Kamala Harris’ attack on the Supreme Court is dangerous and reckless. She is putting our entire nation at risk by questioning the legitimacy of one of our most important institutions. By expressing doubts about whether the court can interpret the law fairly, she puts our entire nation at risk. This kind of rhetoric is irresponsible and could have serious consequences for the future of our country. We need leaders who are willing to respect our judicial system, not undermine it.
