What the heck is going on in Biden’s America? An ABC News investigative reporter James Gordon Meek who was writing a book about Joe Biden has just disappeared after the FBI raided his home. This is absolutely crazy, and it’s only going to raise more questions about journalists being targeted by the Biden regime and the fate of the Free Press in the United States.
As Tatiana Siegel points out in Rolling Stone, this raid is one of the first conducted on a journalist by the Biden administration. The FBI has not charged Meek with any crimes, which is even more frightening.
In an interview with Rolling Stone, ABC News reported that Meek abruptly resigned and hadn’t worked for the company for months, but staffers admitted they did not know what happened to Meek.
Post Millennial notes, when his neighbors spotted armored vehicles outside of his home, James Gordon Meek was in the middle of writing a book about the Biden administration’s controversial withdrawal from Afghanistan. He hasn’t been heard from since.
The search warrant was approved by a federal magistrate judge the day before the raid on April 27th. The Deputy Attorney General has to approve a federal prosecutor’s seizure of journalists’ files prior to the raid, which means that Lisa Monaco, the Deputy Attorney General appointed by Biden, had to approve the raid.
According to anonymous sources, federal agents found classified information on Meek’s laptop, but its content is unknown. Eugene Gorokhov, his lawyer, responded to the allegations, saying “If such documents exist, as claimed, this would be within the scope of his long career as an investigative journalist covering government wrongdoing.”
All of Meek’s colleagues at ABC are unaware of his whereabouts.
One coworker stated, “He fell off the face of the Earth”
In a statement, ABC said, “He resigned very abruptly and hasn’t worked for us for months,” adding that no further information was available.
Meek also lived with two daughters on the same floor, according to a neighbor. According to reports, his apartment is now vacant, so it is unclear what happened to them as well.
