After a subway shoving incident in Brooklyn on Friday, police arrested an African American suspect with a lengthy criminal history.

The victim, David Martin, was allegedly pushed down onto the tracks by the career criminal after he allegedly charged the subway platform. According to Breitbart News, the 32-year-old man was injured during the incident, but was not hit by the train.

Law enforcement officials told the media on Tuesday that 41-year-old Lamale McRae faces charges of attempted murder, assault, reckless endangerment, and harassment.

Now, In order to prevent falling victim to a soaring crime rate, the mayor of New York City has advised subway passengers to stop using their phones and headphones while on the increasingly dangerous transportation system.

Yes you heard him. Instead of condemning the career criminal who pushed the man onto the subway tracks, Eric Adams seemed to criticize the victim, saying that he shouldn’t have been on his phone or listening to music. We should point out that even if the man had been paying attention, the attack came out of nowhere and he was pushed from the back, not head-on from the front. This is just another example of politicians trying to spin incidents to outrageous proportions instead of actually doing the right thing by taking action to solve the problems. As long as Democrats are elected in New York, there won’t be significant change that the city so desperately needs. That’s why we need to elect Republicans into office in New York, so the city can become safe once again.
