What is the point at which enough is enough? When will we refuse to be silenced and begin fighting back to ensure our voices are heard?
Zero Hedge reports. Conservatives often view Twitter as an irrelevant platform that doesn’t affect their worldview. Twitter has, however, been used for at least six years by leftist organizations to launch large-scale attacks against those who oppose their ideology. As a result of using Twitter as a weapon, they have intimidated people into silence before they have even had the chance to speak.
From its inception in San Francisco, Twitter’s original management has consistently maintained that the company is free of political bias and treats everyone fairly. After the revelation that the tech giant had a close relationship with the federal government and the Biden Administration for actively erasing voices opposing the unconstitutional covid mandates and vaccine passports (among other things), ample evidence has been provided to suggest this is not the case.
In addition, Twitter routinely promoted establishment narratives on almost every domestic and geopolitical issue, while aggressively amplifying leftist groups BLM and Antifa. The importance of the company to the political left cannot be overstated. Their Mecca is Twitter.
Musk has appeased some leftist demands but only encountered further attacks and actions that scared away advertisers. If they cannot own the website, they will burn it down. A recent complaint from Musk stated:
“Twitter has had a massive drop in revenue, due to activist groups pressuring advertisers, even though nothing has changed with content moderation and we did everything we could to appease the activists. Extremely messed up! They are trying to destroy free speech in America.”
In light of the left’s constant attempts to silence the right, this battle has been ongoing for several years.
Next news network reported. A Google Lobbyist was running his mouth declaring that following Elon Musk’s final acquisition of Twitter the app would be yanked from the Google Play store. And with the midterms, and looming Trump announcement ahead this would be the perfect time for them to effectively stifle free speech.
Again, deplatforming Parlor was a relatively easy task for Big Tech to do. Now platforms like Apple and Google are planning to kill Twitter and deplatform it as well, similarly to how they once killed Parler.
Still don’t believe me? In April, the woke activist Shaun King tweeted that Apple and Google had already promised to deplatform Twitter if the app failed to moderate and remove “hate speech.”
His twitter account has since been deactivated but here is the archive of the tweet that read:
“I am told this morning that Apple and Google will remove Twitter from the App Store if it does not moderate and remove hate speech under @ElonMusk. This isn’t a new policy, but a commitment already made. Amazon Web Services has the same commitment. So there’s that.”
So, what would the app landscape look like if Twitter was no more? Well for starters it would still exist on all the phones where it currently resides, that is until a mandatory software update renders the app unusable. And then should Amazon take the next step and pull Twitter from their web hosting services, the site would cease to exist altogether.
Despite claims that Twitter is a neutral platform, it has increasingly become a breeding ground for leftist attacks against anyone daring to oppose their ideology. In fact, the platform has been weaponized by these individuals to intimidate and silence those who might speak out against them. And while the company’s management may claim they are unbiased and treat everyone fairly, their close relationship with the government and their active censorship of conservative voices tells a different story. The time has come for conservatives to stop dismissing Twitter as irrelevant to them – because it is actively being used as a tool to silence us. It’s time to fight back against this injustice and defend our right to free speech.
