MSNBC Just Lost All Credibility after this Southern Border Segment

MSNBC employees seem to live in an alternate reality. Two analysts on the far-left network insisted that the southern border is not in crisis during a recent broadcast.
.
While appearing on “The Mehdi Hasan Show” Sunday night, MSNBC analysts Maria Hinijosa and Fernand Amandi agreed that there is no “crisis” at the border.

Ahead of the termination of Title 42 enforcement in December, guest host Paola Ramos discussed the topic of immigration. Hinijosa disputed any claims that the southern border is in a crisis, despite Customs and Border Protection reporting an all-time record of over 230,000 border encounters in October.

MSNBC even ran border photos during the segment that she objected to.

In agreement with Hinijosa, Amandi attacked Republicans for suggesting there was a crisis.

The MSNBC analysts’ remarks were strange, considering even CNN admitted to there being a crisis at the border this week.

The Daily Caller reports, during this CNN show, Jake Tapper suggested to Republican Kentucky Representative James Comer that a bipartisan, “comprehensive bill” in Congress would solve the problem of record-high migrant and fentanyl influxes at the border.

“It is a crisis at the border, without question,” Tapper said.

It’s no surprise that MSNBC would try to downplay the seriousness of the migrant surge at the southern border. After all, they’ve been doing the same thing for a number of years in order to cover for Democrats. But this week, they took things too far. MSNBC lost all credibility with this segment. The border is in shambles and MSNBC will never admit there is a problem. Their coverage of this issue is dangerous and does nothing to help solve the crisis. Americans deserve better from their news sources, especially when it comes to matters of national security.
