Mike Pence laughed off the idea that he might be former President Donald Trump’s running mate once again.
According to the Washington Examiner, when Shannon Bream of Fox News Sunday asked him about a Trump-Pence ticket, Pence burst into laughter.
The former vice president has written a book in which he expresses his disapproval of the way Trump handled the 2020 election. Pence has refused to endorse Trump for president in 2024 during his media tours promoting the book.
Going back to the FOX News interview, Bream also discussed Pence’s book extensively, as if it were the beginning of his own presidential campaign. The former vice president was asked when he would decide whether or not to run against his former boss.
Based on the November Zogby poll of Republican voters, 8.2% supported Pence for president compared to 46.8% for Trump.
When respondents were asked who they’d vote for – if Trump was not running – 21% chose Pence, but over 48% chose Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).
As any true conservative knows, the only way to save America is by getting Donald Trump elected in 2024. Pence owes everything he has to Donald Trump, and it’s time for him to repay that debt by helping to get him elected in 2024 because America needs another four years of Trump in order to make it great again.
