I don’t know about you, but I’m getting really tired of the Biden administration’s lies. This time they’re trying to tell us that they’re draining the SPR because they were trying to save the “Global Economy”, but we all know that’s not true. Every time gas was high it was never their fault and every time gas was low it was their doing.
Daily Caller reports, Amos Hochstein, the Biden Administration’s International Energy Affairs advisor, said on CNBC’s “Squawk Box” on Monday that the government drained the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to save the “global economy.”
As host Joe Kernen noted, the Biden Administration consistently blamed oil companies for price gouging, but has shifted away from that argument now that gas prices have declined.

This is actually what happened.
During the March invasion of Ukraine, President Joe Biden authorized the sale of up to 180 million barrels of oil from the reserves, blaming Russian President Vladimir Putin for spiking gas prices. Moreover, the administration blamed the high price of energy on oil companies.
A further 10 million barrels were released from reserves in October, making them the lowest they have been since the 1980s.
As the Biden Administration toys with the SPR as if it were their personal reserve, people who understand its purpose are advising against it.
The Epoch Times reported that, according to the head of the largest oil and natural gas trade association, failure to replenish the United States’ Strategic Petroleum Reserve could lead to another oil crisis soon.
American Petroleum Institute CEO Mike Sommers blasted the Biden administrations flagrant use of the petroleum reserves for political gain.

The current administration has been desperate for positive attention since day one. They’ve been fiddling with the emergency reserve, manipulating the market every time a consequential election neared. Their goal has been to drain America of its spirit so the elites can ride off into the sunset once they’ve gotten their fill. The entire world knows what they’re up to, yet their only strategy is to double down on their lies because that’s all they’re good at. Pathetic!
