It appears that House Republican leadership has uncovered evidence that leads back up to Nancy Pelosi’s office itself, as being solely responsible for the failure of the Capitol security plan on January 6th of 2021. Text messages and emails have been found which directly tie Pelosi and her trusted staff to the negligence in equipping law enforcement with adequate resources to protect our democracy that day. There have been accusations of a “knee-jerk reaction” by Democratic leadership in response to the deadly riots after the tragedy–but how could this be? Evidence is finally mounting that points from a source no less than Nancy Pelosi’s own desk. What does she know about J6 security plans gone awry?
House Republicans uncovered shocking evidence that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office was solely responsible for the failure of the Capitol security plan to protect our democracy on Jan. 6, 2021. Their liberal agenda had put our nation’s most important home of democracy at risk, as security officials were “denied again and again” the necessary resources they needed. It is deplorable how her failure led to such an attack on democracy and begs us to question who else still infiltrates government positions with their twisted political agendas.
Just the News’ John Solomon went on FOX News this week and stated that the “opportunity to prevent this attack wasn’t just a failure of the capitol police, it was a failure of the political leadership of Nancy Pelosi and her leaders.”
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green reacted to the report, tweeting, “Nancy Pelosi is directly to blame for the security failures at the Capitol on January 6th. She blamed everyone else now she must pay the price.”
And House GOP Conference Chairwoman Elise Stefanik added, “Our House Republican Majority will demand accountability for Nancy Pelosi’s complete FAILURE to secure our Capitol and House Democrats’ unconstitutional sham to target their political opponents.”
Just the news reports, House Republicans gathered a trove of text and email messages showing House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office was directly involved in the creation and editing of the Capitol security plan that failed during the January riot. The security officials later declared that they had been denied resources necessary to protect one of the nation’s most important democratic centers “again and again”.
The internal communications were made public Wednesday in a report compiled by Republican Reps. Their investigation, which spanned months, revealed evidence that had been ignored by a Democratic-led committee on Jan. 6, led by Rodney Davis, Jim Banks, Troy Nehls, Jim Jordan and Kelly Armstrong. House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy authorized the lawmakers to conduct their own investigation.
The report concludes the Capitol was left vulnerable on Jan. 6 due to failures by Democratic leadership in the House and law enforcement leadership in the Capitol Police who allowed concerns about the “optics” of having armed officers and National Guardsmen visible to the public to override the need for enhanced security.
The most explosive revelations came from text and email messages showing that two key staffers in Pelosi’s office participated in regular meetings to discuss the security plan for Jan. 6 since early December 2020, and that Pelosi’s aide even edited some plans. Republican lawmakers in the House were excluded from most of these discussions and meetings, according to the report.
The report states “Then-House Sergeant at Arms Paul Irving—who served on the Capitol Police Board by virtue of his position—succumbed to political pressures from the Office of Speaker Pelosi and House Democrat leadership leading up to January 6, 2021,” the report said. “He coordinated closely with the Speaker and her staff and left Republicans out of important discussions related to security.”
Banks said the GOP report countered a Democrat narrative that ignored police and political leadership failures on security.
Banks stated “Our report exposes the partisanship, incompetence and indifference that led to the disaster on January 6 and the leading role Speaker Pelosi and her office played in the security failure at the Capitol,” he said. “Unlike the sham January 6th Committee, House Republicans produced a useful report that will keep Capitol and USCP officers safe with no subpoena power and no budget.”
Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s office has undoubtedly failed to live up to their responsibility of upholding our democracy – what they did was treason and they need to be held accountable. What transpired on January 6th, 2021 was a direct result of the lack of security plan due to the incapability of Pelosi’s office. There are emails and text messages that prove Pelosi was directly involved in this fiasco, yet rather than face the consequences, she works with her cronies to control the narrative using media outlets and their soap boxes to bury any evidence linking them to what happened. What is most alarming about it all is how Democrats were responsible for setting up these conditions that led to this disaster in the first place, yet refuse to take accountability.
