Former Trump Defense attorney shuts down claims by CNN’s Don Lemon narrative that the Department of Justice has been more politicized in previous years then present. Clearly in Don’s demotion he hasn’t paid much attention to the old news he was supposed to report.
Don Lemon, the former leading anchor at CNN, recently made a claim regarding the DOJ’s current political state of affairs. During an exchange with a former Trump defense attorney, Lemon argued that the current situation is less politicized than it was under President Donald Trump’s watch. While this has been obvious to many ever since Biden assumed office, Don lemon has apparently been on a hiatus from actual reality. Thank God nobody is tortured to watch his awful morning show.
Daily Caller reports, during an interview with a former Trump defense attorney, CNN’s Don Lemon argued that the Justice Department (DOJ) is now less politicized than during former President Donald Trump’s administration.
David Schoen, Trump’s former defense attorney in his second impeachment trial in 2021, argued that the January 6th Committee made a “partisan” decision to recommend four criminal charges against him. In Lemon’s opinion, the evidence of the case is more important than who is on
Let’s look at lemons’ usual blasphemous claims.
According to the Select Committee, Trump should be charged with obstruction of an official proceeding, conspiracy to defraud the government, conspiracy to make a false statement, and inciting or assisting an insurrection. Currently, the DOJ is investigating the matter.
Additionally, the committee recommended that the House Ethics Committee investigate Republican Reps. Jim Jordan, Andy Biggs, Kevin McCarthy, and Scott Perry for refusing to testify despite receiving subpoenas.
Don Lemon is completely ignoring the fact that Trump was the first former president to ever have their home raided by a politicized FBI.
Trump’s Florida home was raided by the FBI on Aug. 8 as part of an investigation into POTENTIAL Espionage Act violations. Trump has disputed the FBI’s claim that it recovered 11 sets of classified documents, insisting that all records stored at Mar-a-Lago have been declassified.
On Friday, the Justice Department released a highly redacted affidavit arguing the raid was justified in part by 15 boxes of documents that were already obtained from Trump’s residence in January.
This is just scratching the surface of what this DOJ has done during this administration.
It is deeply appalling that Don Lemon would try to argue against the fact that this current administration has weaponized the Department of Justice (DOJ) for political games. It’s ridiculous considering there is no evidence that any such thing took place during the Trump administration and yet he still insists on denying it. His arrogance allows him to think he knows better. It proves that we must always be incredibly aware and vigilant about those who swoop in with their opinions, and reaffirm the importance of validating sources before taking what anyone says as absolute truth. The facts are not on his side but yet walks around pretending the facts are.
