In response to regulators considering banning gas stoves, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis (R) unveiled gas stove-inspired merchandise.
In an interview with Bloomberg, Consumer Product Safety Commission commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. said gas stoves are a hidden hazard and might be banned.
DeSantis’ allies mocked the potential ban by unveiling new merchandise. The design is a variation on the Gadsden flag.
Team DeSantis wrote in a tweet, “When we say Don’t Tread on Florida… that includes OUR GAS STOVES! Show the Left that they’re not taking those away from us anytime soon… Secure yours now!”
The item is an apron made of yellow material, depicting an image of a gas stove with the text “DON’T TREAD ON FLORIDA.” According to the website, the item is made in the United States and costs $25.
So far, the design is currently only available on the apron, which is now sold out.
Governor Ron DeSantis is no fool and it looks like he has epicly cashed in on the woke left’s climate crazies with their crazy idea to ban gas stoves. After the Consumer Product Safety Commission Commissioner Richard Trumka Jr. declared that these stoves may be dangerous, the Governor took this laughable idea and turned it around into a laugh-filled epic merchandising opportunity. He found a hilarious way to uncannily combine the Gadsden Flag design with his genius clever take on the woke left’s newest venture into attempting to ban gas stoves.
